I am an experienced academic, creative and inclusive teacher, and dedicated to bringing history and heritage to life.

Research

My research concentrates on working-class political writing in 19th century Britain, as well as the history of the periodical press.

I am also increasingly interested in the history of ethical fashion and textile labour activism from the post-abolitionist period to the present day.
